Boccone Trattoria Veloce, nestled in the bustling Toronto Pearson Airport, redefines the notion of airport dining with its authentic Italian cuisine. Reviews consistently highlight the quality of the food, showcasing dishes that resonate with both locals and travelers alike. David Picov praised the 'pasta of the day,' noting the perfectly cooked shrimp, setting a high standard for airport fare. This sentiment is echoed by Laurie Johnson, who appreciated the excellent service, especially given her food allergies; her delightful experience with the 'radiatore rapini' exemplifies the restaurant's commitment to catering to diverse dietary needs.
Beyond just food, the ambiance stands out. George Nwigwe, a connoisseur of Italian cuisine, commended the pizza for its authentic thin crust and flavorful toppings, reflecting a genuine taste of Italy. Additionally, he noted the attentive service from Eunice, further enhancing the welcoming atmosphere of the trattoria.
With a variety of options from crispy fries to fresh sandwiches, Boccone Trattoria Veloce has firmly established itself as a go-to spot for a wholesome meal while traveling. Deb Carano's remarks about the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff reinforce the charm of this quaint restaurant, making it a must-visit on your next transit through Toronto.

For Airport food, the bar is raised. Pasta of the day was very good, shrimp were cooked just right.

Great service from the moment I walked in. I have food allergies and my server was very helpful and checked the ingredients with the kitchen and even brought me product labels to check. I had the radiatore rapini and it was delicious. I will definitely eat here on my next trip through Toronto.

Wonderful place for a sit-down meal at the Toronto airport. They have a wide variety of Italian food. Antje was a very kind server who checked in often! Great experience.

I ate at Boccone Trattoria in Pearson Airport Terminal 1 and loved it. As someone who grew up in Italy, I can say the pizza here is very close to authentic. The thin crust, tasty mozzarella, and fresh toppings were perfect. The fries were crispy and not soggy. The atmosphere is good, and we got seated quickly. The decor and bar in the middle make it look nice, even though it’s a bit small. It felt private, which was nice in a busy airport. Our server Eunice was attentive and friendly. The food for four people came in 23 minutes, which was great. It’s the best place for good pizza at an affordable price in the airport.

Cute little place to eat in terminal 1 Toronto Pearson airport. The pizza was fresh, the sandwiches were hot and the selection was great. Clean and friendly. Would recommend.

Boccone Trattoria at Toronto Airport is my go-to layover ritual! Whenever I’m waiting for a connecting flight, I make sure to stop by. My usual trio: the refreshing Margarita cocktail, the flavorful Mhergaritta pizza, and their fresh, delicious Caprese — simple yet satisfying. The food, the chill atmosphere, and the consistent service always make the wait so much better. A must-visit spot if you’re passing through YYZ!

A popular place conveniently located inside Pearson Terminal 1, just in front of our boarding gate!! Tasty Italian meal with reasonable prices. Service is understandably slow due to a full house....long lineup before seating. A satisfied meal before boarding for a fun adventure!

Great spot to relax before a flight. We had the margherita pizza, caprese salad, fries, 5oz merlot and a glass of citrus beer (501 Queen I think). The servings were generous (we were able to bring extras on the plane). Yes, the prices are higher, but that's expected when you're in an airport. The quality makes up for it. Our server was great and we had a lovely time.
